2022 Sparkling Wine

Made in the méthode champenoise style for the highest quality and expression. Composed of 33% Pinot Noir and 66% Chardonnay. Grapes were hand harvested with relatively low accumulated sugar and a high level of acid. The fruit was gently pressed, whole cluster, to yield 120 gallons per ton, then fermented and aged in neutral French Oak barrels. Tirage occurred in Spring 2023 followed by three years of sur lie aging. Each bottle has been gently handled as many as five times before completion.

A pale yellow hue in the glass with a persistent bead. This sparkling treads the ever elusive line of complexity and freshness. Subtle fruit aromas of meyer lemon and red apple are accented by a touch of fresh baked brioche. On the palate, this wine is focused with notes of citrus emphasized by bright crisp acidity. The mousse is fine and supple but persistent throughout. This wine drinks well upon release but will continue to evolve in complexity upon cellaring.
