The domaine Messier 2022 Pinot noir, Cuvée du Nouveau Monde hails from Domaine Messier Pinot Noir plantings of exclusively 943 clone. Clusters were hand-harvested before complete destemming into small two-ton open-top fermenters. Gentle pigeage was performed by hand twice a day before press-out at dryness. Maturation was carried out in 40% new French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
